Randy, Who's doing tech Saturday and Sunday? Do they have a measuring tool to check legality of tires in stock-class? do you need one? Who's handling Pro-*test*-('")s? How many you got signed up to run? (I know you don't have on-line reg, just a ballpark) Is Pego coming and if so is she bringing the contingency forms and stickers, or do you have those? Is there any kind of "master post" or flier that I could send to someone for all the needed info? Will there be any food for sale at the site or do we need to bring food? Is there a schedule you're going by? I have a friend that might want to come by and watch..... several questions I know, just seeing what's still pending and what is known for sure.. might be a good idea not to do a mile-long course if there's only gonna be a few people there, ya know, for safety.
jr4jc- 03-23-2007
tech is covered
TOOL: bring your calipers if you like
if your running stock class post which tires your using, we know most of the ones that do and do not qualify, we could tell you before you arrive.
please don't come PLANNING to pro-*test*-('")-
i am the person to see about pro-*test*-('")s.
i have had lots of inquiries about the rallycross, but without online registration do not have a number--next year we will do an online list so we have a entry list to view, this year the club decided to do registration at the event only.
Pego is not coming i have asked her a couple times, i think this event will be great and the satruday -*test*-('") and tune/fun competition will be entertatining.
contigency forms and stickers are supposedly in the mail to me as we speak, it would not hurt to print and fill out the form a head of time though.
NO food the poor girl last year did not make much money, so bring your own. schedule for the event is posted on the first page of the web site and specifics on saturday as well as sunday in the forums. no flier just the info on the forums.
This is not a spectator event, those have different ins. requirements. come work or drive. working gives the person the best seat in the house.
course will be 1 mile and will be safe!!!!
jr4jc- 03-27-2007
more details the forms and the stickers for contingency will be available at registration, but having the forms filled out ahead of time and bringing them with you will save you and us some time. but they are available at the event.
the -*test*-('") and tune/ COMPETITION---
how this will work is you have to be the fas-*test*-('") on the -*test*-('") and tune in your class---then late in the afternoon 5:15ish each of the winners of their class get to run 1 more run to try to match their fas-*test*-('") run, the closest to their own time will win 1/2 of the $$$ raised by the -*test*-('") and tune.
-*test*-('") and tune is $1 per run 2-5pm saturday then the COMPETITION part of the -*test*-('") and tune at 5:15-6pm
dinner to follow at ruby tuesday which is walking distance from the sleep inn
